What sets me apart is how I balance big-picture vision with hands-on execution. I’m known for being a thoughtful collaborator and inclusive leader who listens deeply, asks tough questions, and brings non-designers into the creative process through facilitation, coaching, and storytelling.
For the last five years, I was a lead service designer and strategist with the Lab at OPM, bringing a human-centered lens to tackle some of government's most complex legacy systems. Before that I was an interactive design lead at Decker Design, creating websites and digital experiences for nonprofits and professional service firms.
Working with Kelly fundamentally shifted how I approached problem-solving and project design. She taught me how to slow down and deeply explore customer insights before jumping to solutions. From start to finish, her exceptional analytical skills stood out during the discovery process. She was able to sort through ambiguous data to reveal patterns and connections that were not immediately obvious, which ultimately revealed pain points and bright spots that my organization would have never considered.
